Dawn Sutro MEd. LMFT
My name is Dawn Sutro and I have been working with families in Benton, Linn, and Lane counties for 17
years. I am trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist and I have worked with people at many ages and
stages of their lives. I have a particularly extensive background working with individuals, couples, and
families in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I utilize various therapy techniques, specifically Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems Therapy.
I have specialized training for working with Military families, with a focus on deployment transitions and
transitions to civilian life. My approach is to assist military families in reconnecting, redefining relationships,
and fostering family unity before, during, and after deployments.
I am a Employee Assistance Provider through Cascade EAP, Ceridian Lifeworks, Reliant Behavioral Health,
Calapooia Employee Assistance Program, Value Options, and MilitaryOneSource. I am an in-network
provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Oregon,Tricare/Triwest, PacificSource, Moda, Samaritan Health Plans,
and the Inter-Community Health Network (Oregon Health Plan). I also serve Veterans (Fee 4 Basis) and
CHAMPVA. I am currently applying for other insurance panels and I am able to bill many other insurances as
needed. My fee scale for uninsured clients is listed below and I also offer sliding scale rates for families in
need. I strive to keep my rates affordable to all.
